3D printed housings that look finished and work that way too
3D printing for appliances and devices: from an aesthetic enclosure to internal parts, we print functional prototypes and series parts with a smooth, finished surface, good enough to show a customer and tough enough for everyday use.

On screen it all looks smooth. In your hand, every seam shows.
Test form, ergonomics and assembly
A physical prototype lets you check form, ergonomics, cover fit, opening placement and the assembly of internal components. Design flaws surface before you invest in production tooling.
Finishing for presentation prototypes
Sandblasting, dyeing or other post-processing improves the look of the SLS surface and prepares the prototype for presentation, photography, a trade show or customer review.
What we SLS 3D print for appliances & devices
From the outer housing to internal brackets and mechanisms. SLS 3D printing gives you parts with a surface smooth enough to show a customer and tough enough for daily use — from a single prototype to a small batch.
Housings and covers
Functional housings, covers and protective elements for electronics, mechanical assemblies and other device components.
Internal components
Brackets, fasteners, spacers, guides and other functional parts for mounting electronics and mechanical assemblies.
Functional prototypes
Test the form, ergonomics, fit, assembly and function of a device on a physical prototype before investing in production tooling.
Small batches and end-use parts
Once the design is confirmed, we continue with the same SLS technology to produce functional components and small batches without classic production tooling.
Complex technical components
Internal channels, integrated brackets, guides and demanding geometries that SLS can produce without classic support structures.

One shape, three finishes
Scroll to reveal each stage of finishing — from the as-printed surface to a sandblasted and dyed part. Choose the level of finish based on the application, functional requirements and the look you want.

PA 2200 for the surface, PA 3200 GF for load-bearing parts
PA 2200 gives a smooth, even surface that can be sandblasted and dyed — ideal for visible housings. We use PA 3200 GF where internal brackets or mechanisms need extra stiffness and wear resistance.

PA 2200
High strength, chemical resistance, dimensional stability and biocompatibility. The most commonly used material for functional parts.
- Tensile strength 48 MPa
- Elongation 18 %
- HDT 157 °C

PA 3200 GF
High stiffness, wear and temperature resistance - with the repeatability of industrial printing.
- Tensile strength 51 MPa
- Elongation 9 %
- HDT 157 °C
From a confirmed prototype to a repeatable small batch
Once the design is confirmed, we continue with the same industrial SLS technology into small-batch production. A controlled process delivers repeatable functional components without the need for classic production tooling.

Frequently asked questions about SLS 3D printing for appliances & devices
SLS produces aesthetic housings with a smooth surface that can be sandblasted and dyed, while providing enough mechanical strength for everyday use. Suitability for a specific application depends on the required shape, surface and loads.
