Medical devices made to fit the patient

From patient anatomy to a physical product with SLS 3D printing. We produce individually adapted medical devices and anatomical models using industrial SLS 3D printing technology. We convert complex geometry from a digital 3D model into a physical product, adapted to the anatomy and requirements of the specific medical application.

Every patient is different. Every part can be too.

Made to anatomy

We produce individualized medical devices based on the anatomy of each patient and the requirements of the specific procedure.

Anatomical models for planning

Anatomical models from medical imaging data provide a physical representation of anatomy and help with planning and preparing for a surgical procedure.

Biocompatible material and controlled process

We produce medical devices from biocompatible material in a controlled and certified production process.

What we produce with SLS 3D printing for medical

With industrial SLS technology we produce anatomical models, individualized medical devices, surgical guides and functional components for medical devices. Production takes place in a certified process, and for medical applications we use biocompatible material. Material and process suitability are determined based on the intended use and the requirements of each application.

PA 2200 for precision and biocompatibility, PA 3200 GF for load-bearing parts

PA 2200 gives strong, precise parts with a smooth, cleanable surface, and its biocompatibility makes it a common choice for medical applications. We use PA 3200 GF for rigid load-bearing parts inside devices, where extra stiffness matters more than direct patient contact. Material certification requirements are agreed in advance.

PA 2200

Polyamide 12 (PA12) - versatile standard

High strength, chemical resistance, dimensional stability and biocompatibility. The most commonly used material for functional parts.

  • Tensile strength 48 MPa
  • Elongation 18 %
  • HDT 157 °C

Polyamide 12 + glass - high stiffness

High stiffness, wear and temperature resistance - with the repeatability of industrial printing.

  • Tensile strength 51 MPa
  • Elongation 9 %
  • HDT 157 °C

From CT scan to anatomical model

We convert patient data captured through CT scanning into a usable 3D model and print it in biocompatible material with an SLS 3D printer. With no tooling required, we can adjust and reprint the model as needed, until the fit is exactly right.
